Kristen Breyer is a 23 year old New York artist residing in San Francisco, California. She graduated from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and art in the spring of 2006 with a B.F.A. where she "majored" in printmaking, film, and drawing/painting. Much of her work stems from her love and commitment to animals and how they relate to humans in modern society. Currently she is employed by a non-profit animal rescue in the Bay Area where she educates teens about the humane treatment of animals. In the future she hopes to continue utilizing her abilities and knowledge of animals to contribute towards education and conservation efforts.
